1. Every person is a sinner and the wages of sin is death:
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23
  2. God loves you and desires to save you:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
  3. Jesus died in your place:
"But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Roman 5:8
  4. Repent and ask God to save you:
"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:3
"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved." Roman 10:13
  5. God's promise:
"That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
  6. How to have assurance of salvation:
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son, he that hath the Son hath life...." I John 5:11-12a

After you are saved there are three things to practice daily for spiritual growth:
  1. Pray - you talk to God
  2. Read your Bible - God talks to you
  3. Witness- you talk for God

Why should you attend church?

If you are saved:

  • To worship God
  • To grow in strength and be better fit for service
  • To show others by the testimony of your support that you believe what we teach

If you are not saved:

  • That you might hear the Good News told
  • That you might find your need of Jesus Christ
  • That you might find purpose and direction in your life
  • That you might find your soul's salvation
